I believe that my grandmother's sister lived in Kensington, MN at the end of her life and I think I may have found her in the Soc. Sec Death Index. The person I am looking for was born in Sweden, in Oxaback parish, just south of Boras. Birthdate 20 December 1895. Her birth name was Tekkla Sofia Andersdotter (would have been Anderson in the US). The person in the SSDI was Tekla Norlien, died December 1976. I visited Kensington in the 50ies with my mother and grandmother to visit a sister of my grandmother, but I thought it was her sister Ida (born Ida Paulina Andersdotter on 12 June 1891). My ancestor was Rufus COLBY who was living in Alexandria, Douglas County in 1870 according to the census. I assume he died before the next census and I am hoping to find his death. Can someone offer any suggestions

ZIESKE, NASS, ANDERSON, BURKE, LINSER, KEMMITZ, LEE, and MILLER. Lookingfor connections to Wilhelm and Carolina Wilhelmine BURKE ZIESKE. They wereresidents of Hutchinson and Acoma Town. Wilhelm and Carolina were married in 1867 at Hutchinson, McLeod Co, MN. They were both working on the samefarm when they met and were married there. There is a reference of Carolina's father being Carl BURKE. Wilhelm and Wilhelmine had the following children: Albert, Emma, Fred, Herman, Minnie, Rosalina, Louisa. Wilhelm and Wilhelmineboth died in Douglas county and are buried there. Their son Herman married Hilma ANDERSON. Apparently her step father was Mr NASS. Who is Hilma family and what happened to Mr ANDERSON? I would like to connect with other descendants on these families.

I am looking for information on my great grandparents, Johan and Matilda Kuchenbecker. They had six children. Ernest, Otto, Clarence, John, Earl and Minnie Kuchenbecker. Minnie was born November 30, 1883 and died in March 1967. Her SSN is 472-60-2581. Her last residence was Elbow Lake, Grant County, MN. She is the sister to my grandpa John Kuchenbecker. I am interested in finding information regarding my great grandmother who died in 1937 in Parkers Prairie?? she last lived with her daughter Lillie Looker but I have not been able to find the exact place of her death. I have an obituary but no newspaper name. Her name was Louisa Steffen wife of William Steffen who came to Spruce Hill, Douglas County in 1974 to Homestead from Philadelphia. Any information about the family would be appreciated. There were articles published in some paper about the early life of Lillie Looker.

GUTSMAN: My great grandmother was Wilhemia Gutzman Karnopp. She lived in Wisconsin, but was supposed to have relatives in Alexandria. She was born June 7, 1837 in Prussia. She died April 4, 1897, Prarie DuChein Wisconsin. I would appreciate any information that may be a connection. Thanks.
